About

About Shoo!

Shoo! is a small independent Mac app that locks any application behind Touch ID. It is made in Kyiv, Ukraine, and sold as a one-time purchase.

What Shoo! does

Shoo! lives in the macOS menu bar. You choose the apps you want to protect, and from then on those apps stay closed until you authenticate with Touch ID. It is built for the moment you hand your Mac to someone, share your screen, or leave your desk, and do not want to quit every private app by hand.

Pricing and trial

Shoo! costs $17.99 once. There is no subscription. A 7-day free trial lets you try it before paying. Payments are handled by Freemius, and the refund terms are on the home page.

Distribution

Shoo! is distributed directly from this website, outside the Mac App Store, as a signed and notarized macOS app.

Guides and comparisons

If you are choosing between app lockers, see the comparison pages and how-to guides. Each one states what a tool does and does not do, including where other tools are the better fit.
